A beautiful and yet easy dessert for Christmas dinner.
Ingredients
- 12-14 oz Angel Food Cake
- 3 oz raspberry Jell-O
- 1 cup boiling Water (for Jell-O)
- 1 package frozen berries
- 3 pkgs (4 oz) vanilla pudding
- 6 cups milk (for pudding)
- 2 sliced bananas
- 1 large Cool-Whip (tub)
- 1 cup nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Directions
- Make pudding according to directions on box. Let it set up in refrigerator.
- Mix the Jell-O with the boiling water until dissolved and add ice cubes. Let it set up in refrigerator.
- Layer in trifle dish in this order: angel food cake pieces (half of the angel food cake will go in one layer, the other half will go in the second layer), Jell-O, berries, pudding, bananas, cool whip and then nuts.
- Layer a second time in the same order ending with the nuts. Add any other topping you wish (such as strawberries or berries).
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes (or up to 1 day) before serving. Enjoy!
