After overturning Roe v Wade, over 70 companies quickly hopped on the death bandwagon and have already committed to covering travel expenses for employees who want to get an abortion. They are calling it “access to healthcare services”. Killing an innocent preborn baby is not healthcare.
Companies believe this enhances their ability to compete for talent, an additional benefit for workers in a tight labor market. Also, employers will be paying a lot less for abortion travel than having to pay for maternity leave (companies offer between 12-26 weeks of maternity leave).
Sadly, the list of companies that will reimburse employees for abortion travel is growing.

While many companies are offering employees travel money for murdering their babies in the womb, there is a Texas-based insurance company is taking the opposite approach. I applaud Buffer Insurance, a small company headquartered in Southlake, Texas, who is taking a stand for life, helping women offset the costs of having a baby and/or adopting a baby. Here is what they said:
How Buffer responds to Roe v. Wade: Buffer will pay the medical costs for our employees who birth babies [and] provide paid time off for employees to have maternity & paternity leave. Buffer will pay for the medical costs associated with adopting a baby.
Companies (on the left) are bowing their knee to pressure from activists and their own employees. In a sense they are saying, “let me help you kill your son or daughter and get back to work.”
What if You Are Investing In These Companies?
- As a Christian, it’s difficult to think that you are investing in companies whose profits are going towards assisting women with killing their baby. You can go to websites such as https://inspireinsight.com or www.2ndvote.org. and look up a company to see who is supporting abortion in their portfolios.
- Once you identify a company that is supporting abortion, you can send a message to the investor relations email on the corporate website and let them know how you feel about their support of the killing of babies.
- If you own abortion-supporting companies stock via a mutual fund, you can sell that fund and buy a different one that does not invest in abortion stocks. You can also purchase individual stocks of companies that are pro-life. Research your options.

What many of these companies don’t understand is that what’s in the mother’s womb is a person, with their own unique characteristics and potential, not just a blob of tissue. God knows your child before they are born; He knows your child’s future. Just because a woman doesn’t want their baby, doesn’t make it any less a human. If you are reading this, please don’t kill your baby; either keep it or consider adoption.
