Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbls baking powder
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk (or buttermilk)
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
For Cheddar Bay biscuits, add shredded cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, and fresh parsley.
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Lightly grease or spray a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Mix in butter and milk until just barely combined.
- Scoop and drop balls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet. Leave about 2 inches between each biscuit.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden brown.
- Remove from oven.
- If you’d like a buttery look, brush with melted butter.
