There are several “key” issues a Christian should consider when voting. God knows the hairs on our head and every word we speak – before we speak. God sees everything you say and do; it is not hidden from Him. One day you will stand before God and be held accountable for everything you’ve done in this life including voting. When you vote, you are giving your approval to a person or party for “everything” stated in their platform. A party’s policies will impact not only you and your family today, but also your children, grandchildren and quite possibly generations to come.
The Ten Commandments which were given to the Israelites, are also commandments that should guide our lives today. In them, we see the holiness of God and what He expects of those who follow Him. We see numerous scripture verses from Genesis to Revelation that murder is wrong, here are a few:
- “You shall not murder”, Deuteronomy 5:17, and “You shall not murder”, Exodus 20:13
- “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ Matthew 5:21
- “There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.” Proverbs 6:16-19
Abortion
The definition of abortion is – “the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus”. In other words, terminating a human life. It would seem common sense that life begins at conception. The scientific community also tells us life begins at conception, whether it’s a human life or an animal. There are voluminous scientific articles written about it.
“The development of a human being begins with fertilization, a process by which two highly specialized cells, the spermatozoon from the male and the oocyte from the female, unite to give rise to a new organism, the zygote.” [Langman, Jan. Medical Embryology. 3rd edition. Baltimore: Williams and Wilkins, 1975, p. 3]
In the Bible both David and Jeremiah knew very well that life began at fertilization. Beyond that, God knew them before they were even born.
“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.” Psalm 139:13-16.
“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations”. Jeremiah 1:5
Telling It to You Straight
I’m going to step back and speak plainly to women considering having an abortion. Regardless of current federal or state laws on abortion, God has not given you the right to kill your baby. “Pro Choice” really means only one choice, to kill your baby. Your baby who wants to live, has no choice. The slogan, “My Body, My Choice,” shows a tragic misunderstanding of what is taking place inside the womb. At no point in pregnancy is the developing embryo or fetus simply a part of your body. Your baby is a separate growing human being, with a unique DNA sequence. Do not let the people, the media, the Left, deceive you; your baby is not a cluster of cells, it’s a real human being that can be seen on an ultrasound. Your baby’s heartbeat can be detected as early as 5 to 6 weeks. Murdering your baby is not reproductive healthcare.
Planned Parenthood Makes Millions
In one year, Planned Parenthood performed 345,672 abortions (2018). PP receives $616 million in taxpayer funding each year. In 2019, PP received $110 million in “reported” total revenue. The abortion business is lucrative – it’s big business. Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger, known as a racist and eugenicist, who purposely planted abortion clinics in minority neighborhoods. In promoting birth control, Sanger advanced a controversial “Negro Project,” wrote in her autobiography about speaking to a Ku Klux Klan group and advocated for a eugenics approach to breeding. As Sanger stated, “the gradual suppression, elimination and eventual extinction, of defective stocks — those human weeds which threaten the blooming of the finest flowers of American civilization.” This year, the Hyde Amendment is in effect. What is it? It’s a legislative provision barring the use of federal funds to pay for abortion except to save the life of the woman, or if the pregnancy arises from incest or rape. The Democrats have vowed to reverse it when they get in office – they will make the taxpayer pay for abortions.
The Doctor’s Oath – Do No Harm
In the Hippocratic Oath that doctors must take, the Latin phrase meaning ““primum non nocere,” means “First, do no harm”; it’s one of the principal precepts guiding all medical intervention. This is a reminder that the physician’s role is to heal, not to harm. While many surgical procedures carry the risk of harm, their intent is to provide healing for the patient. The explicit intent of abortion, however, is to harm, to put to death, the embryo or fetus.
Killing a Baby Right Up Until Birth
Sadly, the Federal law, preborn children can be aborted up until birth. In the past two years, several states have passed new legislation making abortions legal up to the moment of birth. The state of New York led the way and even infamously celebrated the passage of the bill for unlimited abortions and lit up One World Tower pink to literally cheer for the gruesome act of baby-killing. In other words, they cheered the signing of a law allowing abortions until birth in some cases, and letting non-doctors commit abortions. Other states like Illinois, New Mexico, Vermont and Massachusetts have followed suit — either passing or attempting to pass laws overturning every single pro-life law in the state and implementing unfettered access to abortion any time, for any reason – at your (taxpayer) expense.
Abortion Procedure
Many do not even know what the abortion procedure entails – it’s horrendous. I’m not going to post any pictures here. Watch Dr. Levatino, an abortion doctor, testifying in court as he describes how abortions are done. - The abortion pill – which deprives the unborn baby of blood and nourishment until it dies
- The suction D&C – which uses a vacuum to pull smaller babies apart
- The D&E abortion – which uses forceps to tear arms, legs, torso, head, etc. from larger babies
- The chemical injection abortion that stops the fetal heart and causes the mother to deliver the baby stillborn a few days later
The Unimaginable Baby Murder Count
- Over 62 million babies have been murdered in the U.S. since 1973 (Roe v. Wade).
- Black women are more than 3 ½ times more likely to have an abortion than white women.
- The overall main reason for an abortion; the baby is inconvenient, lack of money.
- Every 90 seconds a child is killed at Planned Parenthood.
- 2,363 preborn children will die in America today.

Two Good Choices
There are two other choices that Planned Parenthood won’t tell you:
- Keep your baby
- Adoption (there are plenty of parents eager to adopt)
Anti-Life Ticket – the Democrats
Biden and Harris are the most Anti Life ticket in history. The Democrats want to ensure the murdering of babies continues up until birth. They will also require “you” the taxpayer to fund these abortions (reversing the Hyde Act). Joe does what his handlers tell him to do, he goes along with the Democrat party, he reads the prompter, and has moved his once so-called Catholic position to the extreme left. Kamala Harris is a pro-abortion extremist who supports late-term abortion, something the majority of Americans oppose. As the Attorney General of California, Harris actively targeted and brought to trial the pro-life journalists who investigated Planned Parenthood and exposed its leadership negotiating the harvesting and sale of aborted fetal body parts. Sadly, the federal jury in San Francisco delivered a $2.2 million verdict against the investigators, making them pay Planned Parenthood. Pro-Life Ticket – the Replications
The Republicans have the most Pro Life ticket in history. Should Trump win re-election, he is already actively putting together a list of potential Pro Life judges; perhaps one day, Roe vs. Wade will be overturned. Did you know that Jane Roe (Roe vs. Wade), never aborted her child. That child’s name is Norma McCorvey.
Don’t Join Them
You might be thinking, “we’ll I don’t believe in abortion but I’m voting for the Democrats anyway. ” If you join the Democrat platform, you will be supporting, applauding, condoning abortion and the party’s desire to continue to expand abortion – the intentional killing of babies.

I’ve heard some people say, “I’ve always voted for the left and I have camaraderie with the Democrats.” Really? Have you examined their agenda? So, you have camaraderie with late-term abortion? With those who want to defund the police leaving no one to protect its citizens? With a party that supports groups who commit acts of terrorism, looting, rioting, and lately murder? Camaraderie with reinstating the Obama laws requiring schools to allow biological males who feel like they are females, to use girls’ bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers. With transgender men participating on women’s track teams and winning? With drag-queen story hour? With same sex marriage? Camaraderie with socialism? Is it that easy for you to give up your freedoms?
“And have no fellowship (camaraderie) with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.” Ephesians 5:11
If you are silent on this issue, I urge you to open your mouth for these babies who have (literally) appointments with death.

Our country is hurting right now: coronavirus; fires; hurricanes; mayhem, burning, looting, and murder from protesters, Antifa and Black Lives Matter groups. Non-stop hate spewed out from the left media for our President and conservatives. From all that is happening this year, we can sense that our country is under God’s judgment right now. Although everyone needs to take action and vote in every election, ultimately the result of the next Presidential election will be in God’s will. Although it may not seem like it, God is still in control. But more than an election, we all need to awaken to the fact that God’s ultimate desire is for you to draw closer to Him and His son Jesus; it’s the only way to eternal life in heaven my friend.
